About Us

Hi, you want to know about us? We are Mike and Liz, and we were on a mission to explore self-sustainability so we thought there was no better way to start than by growing herbs.

After studying horticulture and having a true passion for all things in the garden, we haven’t looked back – 15 years on we still grow our own herbs, as well as vegetables. Our kids love being involved and it saves us a lot of money as well.

We created Growing Herbs Guide so we can share our passion and all the tips and tricks we have learnt along the way. Whilst growing herbs isn’t too difficult, there are some dos and don’ts and tips that will lead to a plentiful, flourishing herb garden.
